Job Summary

At Drivers Village, as a Product Specialist, you help customers learn about Vehicles and products and explore various possibilities that are available to them.   As a Product Specialist you’re part of a Sales Team that’s passionate about helping customers with their vehicle purchase. With your understanding of the Brand and enthusiasm for Exceptional Customer Service, You will utilize technology and enthusiastically give presentations to customers. Including test drives.

As a Product Specialist, you introduce Brand Specific solutions, and services to our customers. You spend some time on the sales floor, meeting first-time and current customers and learning their needs. You generate new leads, build and enforce current customer relationships, connecting over the phone, on line, or through in-store events. You discover customer needs through interacting with the customer and working with the Team to prepare and present Brand specific products. For customers with more complex needs, you work with the entire Team to craft the ideal solution. Finally, by engaging customers to think about the possibilities of The Brand, you help build success - not only for your team, but for our customers as well. There is no negotiating or closing involved.  

Additional Requirements

You’re comfortable interacting with Customers and Employees. You have strong people and presentation skills, strong knowledge of technology and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You need a valid NY State Drivers License and a smart phone.  You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs, not to exceed 40 hours.
